POP-CULTURE SPECTRUM PRESENTS: A SPECIAL MP3 and quick report inspired by a journal entry of Evan Dorkin

On January 20th, 2004, Tom Scharpling, host of The Best Show on WFMU (official title) on radio station WFMU, made a comparison between a sound byte of Howard Dean in a  ecstatic over the top "rock n roll"esque rallying cheer and a clip of the lead singer of 80's band Venom, Cronos going insane on stage in New Jersey.  The original show was  three hours and three minutes long with lots of music and other bits, the Howard Dean discussion took up a portion of the show in different formats.  It can be heard in streaming format at this link of WFMU archives.  I have used computer software to extract the comparison between Dean and Cronos and Tom's DJ attempt to actually merge the two tracks, it's around three minutes long.  You can download the MP3 on PC by doing the right click-save as (and you can do whatever it is you do on MACs or whatever else you're using) on the following link.  I hope you enjoy.
